    COMPETITION RULES

    • To register your group for participation, a representative of the group should fill in the online form by 05.11.2026 (only fully completed forms will be accepted). Performance music should be sent to the organizers by 23.11.2026.
    • The organizers reserve the right to close registration before the announced deadline if the maximum number of participants is reached prior to that date.
    • The participation fee must be paid by 09.11.2026. At least 50% of the total amount should be paid by bank transfer after receiving the invoice. The full amount should be paid no later than 26.11.2026.
    • The participation fee is non-refundable, even if the participants are unable to attend the competition.
    • Participants will be confirmed only after the receipt of a properly completed registration form, the phonogram, and the participation fee.
    • The dimensions of the dance floor are 15 x 12 m. The dance performance area is equipped with a ballet linoleum floor covering.
    • Professional lighting and sound system. LED screens for information.
    • The participants are solely responsible for the copyright of the phonograms/music recordings they use.
    • Each group leader is responsible for ensuring that the submitted performance complies with national, religious, and political standards, as well as for ensuring that the composition of the group corresponds to the relevant age category, group nomination, and dance style.
    • If only one or two groups are registered in a competition category, they may be transferred to another dance category upon prior agreement with the group or team leader.
    • Each participant must carry a valid identification document, which may be requested by the organizers in the event of any questions regarding the dancer’s age. If the number of participants whose age does not comply with the registered age category exceeds 20% of the total number of group members, the final score of the performance will be annulled, and the participation fee will not be refunded.
    • By participating in the event, participants grant their consent to the organizers to make photo, video, and audio recordings during the event and to publish, reproduce, and distribute such materials on social media platforms and/or in mass media, transferring all related copyright and usage rights to the event organizers.
    • The dancers, their parents or legal guardians, and the dance clubs they represent are solely responsible for the participants’ health and well-being.
    • The organizers reserve the right to make amendments to these regulations and will inform all registered group leaders of any such changes.

    EVALUTIONS CRITERIA AND AWARDS

    • The jury will consist of professional choreographers from Latvia and abroad.

    • The jury will evaluate technique, choreography, synchronicity, musicality, composition, show, artistry, and stage image on a 10-point scale from 1 to 10. Each group’s final score will be calculated as the total of the scores from all jury members. The winner will be the group with the highest score.

    • Evaluation criteria:
      Performance technique, synchronicity, musicality, composition, theme, show, artistry, and stage image.

    • All participating teams will be awarded diplomas and encouraging prizes.
    • In every age group of each category, the 1st, 2nd, and 3rd place winners will be awarded a diploma, cup, and medals.
    • In each age group, the GRAND PRIX will be awarded to the performance that receives the highest score across all nomination categories.
    • All Baby Dance groups will be awarded 1st, 2nd, or 3rd place and will receive a diploma, cup, and medals.

    • The best performance of each competition day will be awarded
      PRIZE MONEY of 500 EUR.
      The prize money will be transferred to the bank account of the winning dance studio.
